Announcing MECOS 4

The Marine Biological Association of India (MBAI), in collaboration with the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CMFRI), is hosting the fourth edition of its International Symposium on Marine Ecosystems Challenges and Opportunities (MECOS 4) in Kochi, Kerala. during 11-13 November 2025. Building on the success of its previous editions, MECOS 4 continues the momentum established by MECOS 3, which drew 356 participants and featured 23 keynote speakers representing 20 affiliations from five countries. Important Dates

Online Registration will be available from March 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025. Abstracts can be submitted from March 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025. Date of acceptance will be October 15, 2025.

Fourth Dr. S. Jones Memorial Prize

The MBAI has instituted a triennial Dr S. Jones Memorial Prize in memory of its founder President for researchers who have made outstanding contributions in marine biology and fisheries.
